Should be booked in advance as we’ve not located our boats in Male or the airport. We’ll have to send the boat from Maafushi. Travel time by speedboat is 35 minutes. The boat can be shared with other guests.
However, sharing a boat is subject to other guests' transfer requests for the same flight/time or only if you meet people at Male' airport who want to go to Maafushi upon your arrival.

Relaxing getaway..
The close proximity to the beach n the night attraction. Tiger, the front desk staff was very attentive and caring. All the bell boy was very friendly
Other front desk should greet or at least smile and acknowledge guests. Almost all of them is snobbish. Kaani managment, should send them for hospitality course. Kaani palm staff is friendlier than Kaani Grand Seaview

Sun, beach, friendly staff, all perfect ingredients for a wonderful vacation: Kaani had it all.
Tiger was an amazing host. He definitely had a very positive effect on our stay. The Desk people were also always very helpful and friendly. My husband had his leg in a cast at the time and they made sure that he had at least as possible hinder form that. The spa pampered us as well. We did 2 separate Snorkle adventures and they were wonderfully organized.
To be very honest, we were not impressed with the buffet. It was often dry, or chewy and the fish had to many bones.

Best place to stay in Maafushi
The hotel is located right in front of the Bikini Beach,so you have direct access to the beach sunbeds(free of charge for hotel’s guests). The staff at the restaurant was incredibly friendly and made our stay there a pleasure.
The noise that you hear at night from the nearby bars(until midnights)- but it wasn’t such a dealbreaker.
